Until now, it has been very challenging to identify opportunities to gain experience in industry through internships. InternMatch now makes it possible for you to view and apply for internship positions available from participating Industry Internship sponsors. Internships allow you to gain experience in industry to determine whether it could be your preferred career path, and also to help enhance your CV/resume for the future.
InternMatch is available to hundreds of IPhO student pharmacist members. If you are aren't a member yet, please investigate all of the exciting benefits and services available to IPhO members. In addition, all registered guests of IPhO are able to view the posted positions.
There is currently no limit on the number of applications. This practice will be re-evaluated periodically.
Get started NOW by following the easy steps outlined by InternMatch. Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible after positions are posted to maximize the period of time that their candidacy can be considered by Internship sponsors. InternMatch has no established deadline for application, but sponsors may provide information to candidates about individual internship program deadlines.

InternMatch is not designed to manage candidate recommendation letters. Instead, it closely follows the commonly accepted and timely practices of today's employment market where references are usually contacted only if a candidate reaches the final selection stage. Through InternMatch, sponsors can request that candidates supply information about their references, including name, contact information, and employer, in case sponsors desire to contact them at some point. This year, Internship sponsors wishing to collect letters of recommendation for any (or all) candidates will do so independently of InternMatch.
The internship sponsor will be immediately notified when your application materials are submitted, and you will also receive an email confirming submission (if necessary, check spam and Gmail promotions tab!). All subsequent communication will take place directly between the sponsor and the candidate, not through IPhO.
Yes, the experience is essentially the same on mobile as it is on desktop/laptop. You should be able to access all InternMatch elements on your smartphone or tablet.
Sponsors are asked to edit the status of their position from "Recruiting" to "Recruiting Completed" as positions are filled. You can check the status of any position under the "My Applications" column.
